Yamanouchi Pharma was established in South Africa in June 2003. Prior to this Yamanouchi operated as an agency for 5 years under the umbrella of Pharmaplan.

Yamanouchi S.A currently employs 17 people: 12 Sales Representatives, a General Manager, a Marketing Manager, a Financial Manager and Regulatory Pharmacist.

Yamanouchi has shown considerable growth and is committed to serving the public of South Africa by supplying affordable medicine. Our sales force has many years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry and is equipped to face the challenges of the future. We embrace the merger with Fujisawa and look forward to operating as Astellas.
